By accessing or using the StruckBox platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual subscribers, team administrators, and department accounts.
StruckBox provides AI-powered firefighter training tools including scenario-based size-up training, quiz engines, exam preparation, daily company drills, and related educational content. The Service is intended as a supplemental training tool and does not replace hands-on training, live fire training, or department-mandated certification programs.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with full access; no credit card is required to start. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly per the plan you select (Personal $7.99/mo, Station $49.99/mo, Department $129.99/mo, Agency $249.99/mo, plus career-track add-ons priced on each track's landing page). You may cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Refund policy: if you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge, you are entitled to a full refund. The full terms are in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference and controls in case of any conflict.
IMPORTANT: StruckBox is a supplemental training and study tool. It does not replace official certification courses, hands-on training, live fire training, or any training required by your department, state, or certifying body. Training content is based on NFPA standards and IFSTA materials but may not reflect your specific department's SOPs or local requirements. Always follow your department's policies and procedures on the fireground.
All content on the platform, including questions, scenarios, drills, images, and software, is owned by StruckBox. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. References to NFPA standards and IFSTA materials are for educational purposes only.
You agree not to: share your account credentials, attempt to access other users' data, use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, or scrape content from the Service. Violation may result in account termination.
Portions of our content are generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and review content for quality, AI-generated material may occasionally contain errors. Users should verify critical information against authoritative sources (NFPA standards, IFSTA textbooks, department SOPs).
StruckBox is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use of training content on this platform. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyandotte County, Kansas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of Kansas (without regard to choice-of-law principles) govern any arbitration under these Terms.
